Amarnath Pilgrimage 2026 – A Sacred Journey to Lord Shiva
The Amarnath Pilgrimage 2026 is not just a spiritual journey; it is a divine experience that connects millions of devotees to the eternal presence of Lord Shiva. Set amidst the serene Himalayas of Jammu & Kashmir, the Amarnath Cave houses the sacred Ice Lingam, a naturally formed Shiva Linga that holds immense significance in Hinduism. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims from across the globe embark on this once-in-a-lifetime yatra to seek blessings, inner peace, and spiritual fulfillment.
The Legend of Amarnath– The Amarnath Cave holds a timeless legend. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva narrated the secret of immortality (Amar Katha) to Goddess Parvati in this very cave. To maintain the secrecy, he left behind all living beings and chose this isolated cave. It is said that a pair of pigeons overheard the conversation and became immortal — and even today, many claim to spot pigeons near the sacred site, despite the freezing altitude.
