- Visit the SASB website and create an account.
- Fill out the registration form with personal details.
- Upload the Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by an authorized doctor.
- Make the payment for the Yatra Permit.
- Download and print your Yatra Permit Card after successful registration.

Offline Registration
For those who prefer offline methods, registration can be done at designated bank branches.
- Visit branches of J&K Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), SBI, or other authorized banks.
- Collect the registration form and fill in the required details.
- Submit the form along with your CHC, identity proof, and passport-sized photographs.
- The bank will issue your Yatra Permit Card upon successful registration.
Important Guidelines for Pilgrims
Registration Dates: Start the registration process early, as only a limited number of pilgrims (10,000 per day per route) are allowed per day on each route.
Age Restrictions: Only pilgrims between the ages of 13 and 70 are allowed. Pregnant women exceeding six months of pregnancy are not permitted.
Route Selection: Choose your preferred route – Pahalgam (traditional route) or Baltal (shorter route) – during registration.
Keep Your Permit Safe: The Yatra Permit Card is mandatory for accessing the pilgrimage route and must be carried at all times.

Tips for Pilgrims
- Amarnath cave is situated at altitude of 12756 ft. Be sure to bring warm clothing, sturdy footwear, personal medications, and, due to the low oxygen levels, carrying an oxygen pouch is highly recommended for safety.
- Pilgrims have problem of Sugar, Ashthama, High blood Pressure, Heart Attack / Bi-pass surgery or any other type of patient should be avoiding to go for Amarnath pilgrimage.
- The amarnath pilgrims Should carry Woolen cloth/ Leather Jacket/ Good quality trekking shoe/ Rain coat/ Umbrella/ torch etc.
- In Jammu and Kashmir, other state Prepaid sim not working, there work postpaid sim or pilgrims has buy local sim over there. (BSNL/ AIRTEL) good.
- Pilgrims visit for Amarnath pilgrimage on own risk, for any damage/lass due to terrorist attack, curfew, war, Natural Disasters or any other reason our agency will not responsible.
- First aid-kit for emergency medical purpose.
- Always carry mineral water, hygienic food, biscuits, and other snacks to maintain your energy levels throughout the pilgrimage.
