Online Registration Procedure:

To streamline the registration process, the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has introduced an online registration system. Pilgrims can visit the official website, fill in the required details, and upload necessary documents. This digital approach not only simplifies the process but also facilitates a faster and more efficient registration.

  • Visit Shri Amarnathji shrine board official website.
  • Fill Application form online with following details.
  • Verify OTP received on registered mobile no and email id.
  • Application processing and SMS sent to applicant.
  • Pay application fees Online.
  • Download Yatra permit

Offline: – Registration Flow Chart:

  • Pilgrims Approaches at the Registration Counter of Bank Branch with CHC Issued by Authorized Doctor.
  • CHC authenticated and verified manually by bank staff.
  • If CHC is Verified, The Pilgrims is asked to deposit the requisite fees.
  • Registering officer shall feed the Aadhaar no. of the pilgrims in the web portal.
  • Then the Yatri has to do the Biometric Aadhaar Based E-KYC authentication at the counter.
  • After authentication, the data from Aadhaar is populated in the web portal, i;e Name/Parentage, Age, Gender, Address and Photo.
  • Yatra Route, Date of Yatra, Blood Group and Mobile Number of Yatri to be punched by Registering Officer.
  •  The Registering officer shall checkmark the fields of CHC Verification and Fee Paid Manually.
  • The Registering Officer Generates the Yatri Permit with Unique No. From the Portal. 
  • Registering Officer take the printout and hand over it to the Yatri duly signed and stamped.

Important Guidelines-

  1. The Amarnath registration and issue of  Permit (YPs) will be done on first- come-first serve basis.
  2. The Registration of pilgrims shall commence through all the designated bank branches from 15th April 2024).
  3. The Banks shall stop registration for a particular date 08 days before to help the SASB to consolidate the figure. For example the registration for 01st July, 2024 shall be stopped on 23nd June 2024, for 02nd July registration be stopped on 24th June 2024 and so on.
  4. Each registration branch has been allotted a fixed per day/ per route quota for registering the Yatris.
  5. The Amarnath Registration Branch shall ensure that the number of Yatris registered does not exceed the allotted per day/ per route quota.
  6. No one below the age of 13 years or above the age of 70 years and no lady with more than six week’s pregnancy shall be registered for the pilgrimage.
  7. Pilgrims can make Advance Amarnath Registration through Banks will be done on real time basis through Aadhaar based biometric eKYC authentication and the YPF shall be system generated through NIC Portal.
  8. Mechanism of real time manual data punching by bank branches on NIC Portal along with webcam-based photo capture of the Yatris shall also be made available by various Banks/NIC as failsafe option in case of any glitch is encountered w.r.t Aadhar based eKYC.
  9. The YPFs issued after Aadhaar based biometric eKYC authentication shall have “eKYC” written on the YPF.
